Therapy is new for me. What can I expect?

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to learn about why you are seeking therapy, for you to ask any questions, and to see if this feels like a good fit. The first Intake session is about information gathering, getting to know each other, and getting comfortable with the process of treatment. In the beginning, weekly or bi-weekly sessions are common and help us build rapport & get an idea of your treatment goals. The frequency and length of sessions is specific to each individual and their needs.

Do you offer Telehealth/Virtual sessions?

Yes - In addition to in-person services in Colorado, I also offer virtual sessions. Wonder Within offers online counseling and therapy through a HIPPA compliant & confidential platform to residents of Colorado, Missouri, and Kansas.

Do You Take Insurance?

No, I am not paneled with insurance companies. Private pay allows more privacy with your treatment, more choice in length of treatment, and not requiring a diagnosis for services. I can provide you with a Superbill at request, which is a receipt for your payments that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company directly for specific information regarding your eligibility.

Per Colorado Medicaid guidelines, I am unable to work with folks who have Medicaid.

Wonder Within provides you with a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of services, in compliance with the No Surprises Act, effective January 1, 2022, to protect against "surprise billing".

What are your rates for therapy?

Individual Therapy (50 minutes) - $210

Individual Therapy (80 minutes) - $315

Longer sessions (2+ hours) - Available upon request

EMDR Intensives & IFS Intensives (3 hours) - $600

Sliding scale? Yes, when available. Currently full

Fees are structured from my education, experience, expertise, and specialized & advanced training in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), attachment, trauma, and complex trauma.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Standard Therapy Sessions: 24 hours notice is required for cancellations. If you miss a session without canceling, or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you are expected to pay the full fee of the session.

Intensives: A non-refundable 50% is due at the time of scheduling to reserve your spot, and the remaining 50% is due at the time of your appointment. Any late cancellation within 14-days of the scheduled Intensive Session and all no-shows will result in full charge without refund.

Individual Supervision for LPCC’s: $160/hour

Consultation for Licensed Professionals: $160/hour

What Types of Payment Do You Accept?

Major Credit Cards, or Health Savings/Flexible Spending Cards are accepted as payment for services.  A card is kept securely on file and is charged at the time of services.
